The North Fork Angling Society
is a small group of anglers who fly fish the
North Fork Of The South Platte.
We respect the small trout as much as the larger trout.
When we fish the North Fork Of The South Platte we
pick up trash and attempt to reduce polution in this watershed.
Most of us practice 100 percent catch and release.
"There are no dues and no advantages" to being a member.
It is the fundamental philosophy of the group to
pass on their knowledge of fly fishing to each member of the group
freely.
Bamboo Bill gives free fly tying lessons and shares his knowledge of
soft hackle flies with members. It is his way of "giving back"
and passing on knowledge that others have given him.
As a whole, most of us fish Bamboo Fly rods. Fiber Glass rods are
fished as well by a few members from time to time.
